APhA's Pharmacy-Based Immunization Delivery

The Missouri Pharmacy Association (MPA) is a licensed partner to provide the APhA Certificate & Advanced Training Programs listed below.

APhA's Pharmacy-Based Immunization Delivery is an innovative and interactive training program that teaches pharmacists the skills necessary to become a primary source for vaccine information and administration. The program teaches the basics of immunology and focuses on practice implementation and legal/regulatory issues. Training Details:

Time: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM 

Where: Zoom Meeting 

 

Program Requirements:

  • Complete the 12-hour online self-study modules (must pass with 70% before you can attend the live seminar)
  • Complete the 8-hour virtual live seminar (cameras must be on the entire time and you must be visible)
  • Complete Injection Technique Assessment Exercise (you will need a partner 18 years or older available during the assessment to administer 3 injections on a live person as this is a requirement for the completion of this program)
