ACPE-accredited providers of continuing pharmacy education announce new rules regarding reporting of CEUs to the NABP eProfile ID/CPE Monitor data base.

Effective May 1, 2014 all ACPE-accredited providers have 60 days post the CPE activity participation date to upload the participant credit into CPE Monitor.  The provider must upload the participant information 60 days from the date the participant completed the CPE activity.  This applies to all CPE activities:  live, internet-based, and home-study articles.

To facilitate these new rules and ensure timely upload of all participant credits to CPE Monitor, the following changes apply to the issuance of continuing education credits by the Missouri Pharmacy Association.

    1. Participant credit will only be awarded upon successful completion of all evaluations and/or post-activity assessments.
      • For live activities (except certificate training programs), participant must complete the online evaluation form within two weeks after the date of the live activity. For certificate training programs, participant must complete the online evaluation forms and post-activity assessments for both the self-study and live session within two weeks after the date of the live session.
      • For home-study articles (i.e., those published in the Missouri Pharmacist Magazine or on our website at ), post-activity quiz and evaluation must be submitted prior to the expiration date of the activity.
    2. Paper statements of credit will no longer be issued.  All credit awarded by ACPE-accredited providers to pharmacists and pharmacy technicians must be via CPE Monitor.  If participants would like a paper statement of credit, they may print an individual statement of credit or a transcript from their NABP e-profile.

3.  It will be the responsibility of the pharmacist or pharmacy technician to provide the correct information [i.e. ID and DOB (in MMDD format)] in order to receive credit for participating in a CPE activity.

All continuing pharmacy education credits awarded by Missouri Pharmacy Association will be uploaded within 60 days of the completion of the activity.  Please monitor your NABP eProfile account for accuracy.  If you have any questions or identify an inaccuracy, please contact Robyn Silvey at [email protected] or (573) 636-7522.
